Job Description

Summary:

  • Seeking expertise in Sun Solaris and Veritas (VCS desired)
  • Lead development processes for implementations, migrations, upgrades and managing staff
  • Provide technical leadership and design
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies
  • Manage vendors, negotiate contracts

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years experience with Solaris
  • 2+ years experience with Veritas
  • Demonstrated experience managing Unix operations in a high availability, high transaction environment
  • Previous system and performance tuning on Solaris
  • Data center experience a plus
  • Solid background working with vendors
  • Excellent communication skills
  • BS Degree
  • Financial industry experience a plus
